Mary Ellen Heinz (nee Heaton) passed away Thursday, July 3, 2008, at age 74, surrounded by her beloved family. 

She was the beloved wife of 56 years to Nicholas; dear mother of Sharon (Jim) Kucan, Sandy (Jim) OﾕBrien, Patty (Dennis) Luck, Dick (Sheri) Heinz and Danny (Darla) Heinz; loving grandmother of Jimmy (Sarah) Kucan, Melanie Kucan, Jimmy (Sarah) OﾕBrien, Chris (fiancee Andrea) OﾕBrien, Nicole Luck, Brian Luck, Jessie (Shane) Hoppe and Maddie Heinz; and adoring great-grandmother of Dylan, Emily, Josilynn, Shailey, Hunter and Brett. She is also survived by her brother, Del (Adeline) Heaton, other relatives and friends. 

Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until the 7 p.m. vigil prayer service Sunday, July 6, at Church and Chapel Funeral Home, 15250 W. National Ave., New Berlin. Visitation continues at the funeral home from 8:30 a.m. until 9:15 a.m. Monday, July 7, at which time the funeral procession will leave for a Mass of Christian burial at 9:30 a.m. at Holy Apostles Catholic Church, 16000 W. National Ave., New Berlin.  Interment to follow Holy Apostles Parish Cemetery.
