Carl E. Raduege of
Waukesha
found peace Wednesday, July 2, 2008, at Virginia Health and
Rehabilitation
Center
in
Waukesha
at age 95. Carl was born April 23, 1913,
to Ida (nee Boettcher) and William Raduege, at the family farm
located in what is now the town of
Mukwonago
(near highways I and 83).
Carl remained in the
area tending to a dairy farm of his own until the early ‘50s. He then
moved to
Waukesha
where he worked at Waukesha Rubber until his retirement.
Carl played baseball
for the town of
Genesee
and was an avid Brewers fan. He also enjoyed many other outdoor
activities, including fishing.
Survivors include his
sons, Richard and Dale (
Nancy
) Raduege, both of
Waukesha
; granddaughters, Paula Schultz of Morgan Hill,
Calif.
, and Wendy (Donald) Brengosz of Waukesha; great-grandsons, Logan Carl
Brengosz and Colton Brengosz; and a brother, Warren (
Alice
) Raduege of the town of
Genesee
. Carl is further survived by his stepdaughter, Karen (George) Harrison,
and other family and friends.
He was preceded in
death by his wives, Marian (nee Michaelis) and
Lena
.
Visitation will be
held from 1 p.m. until the 2:30 p.m. funeral service Tuesday, July 8, at
St. Luke’s
Lutheran
Church
,
300 Carroll St.
,
Waukesha
. Burial to follow at
Prairie
Home
Cemetery
.
In lieu of flowers,
memorials to St. Luke’s Church suggested.
