Lester Johnson

March 3, 1923 - June 23, 2008

Lester Johnson of Waukesha, born March 3, 1923, a son of Clara and Orlo Johnson, died Monday, June 23, 2008.

Lester served with the U.S. Army during World War II, and he enjoyed retirement after 30 years of service with the U.S. Postal Service.

Lester was a loving husband, father, fun uncle and caring friend to all.

He is survived by his son, Gary; his sister, Edna Calvano; brothers, Philip Sheridan and Christopher (Jude) Sheridan; and nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clara and Orlo Johnson, and his son, Randy.

A memorial service for Lester and his wife, Rosemary, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 12, at Prairie Home Cemetery, 605 S. Prairie Ave., Waukesha.
