OAK CREEK - Senior left fielder Paul Copoulos drove in junior pinch-runner Mike Rossmiller in the top of the seventh inning and the Brookfield Central baseball team defeated Oak Creek 4-2 in a Greater Metro Conference game Thursday.

Copoulos's RBI came with two outs to give the Lancers some insurance and help senior right-hander Mike Bogard to the victory.

Bogard pitched seven innings allowing just two runs on three hits, and collected two hits and an RBI at the plate.

The Lancers improved to 6-6 overall and 3-3 in conference. The Knights dropped to 7-2 overall and 3-1 in conference.

Land to coach volleyball at Waukesha West
