DE PERE - Sophomore midfielder Cody Callender from Hawthorn Woods, Ill., scored two goals to lead the Carroll University women's soccer team to a 3-1 victory over Lake Forest in the semifinals of the Midwest Conference tournament at St. Norbert College on Friday.

Carroll, 12-5-2 overall, advanced to face St. Norbert in today's championship game at noon.

Freshman midfielder Kelley Moran from Lincolnshire, Ill., had the other goal for Carroll. Sophomore forward Kendell Uttech from Watertown had two assists for the Pioneers.

WAUKESHA - The Carroll University men's soccer team defeated Lawrence 6-1 in the opening round of the Midwest Conference tournament at Schneider Stadium on Friday.

The Pioneers advanced to meet Grinnell in today's championship game at noon.

Grinnell defeated St. Norbert 1-0 in the other semifinal.
